Terms of Use for Thank A Medic

By accessing and using the Thank A Medic website (hereinafter "the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.

  1. Use of the Site
    The Thank A Medic Site allows patients to thank paramedics in a personalized manner and enables paramedics to access limited information about interventions (last name, age, and date of the intervention). The use of the Site is reserved for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
     

  2. User Responsibilities

    For Patients:

  • You must provide accurate and respectful information when writing your thanks.

  • You must not share sensitive personal information (address, phone number, etc.) in your messages.

For Paramedics:

  • You have access only to the limited information provided by patients (last name, age, date of the intervention).

  • You agree not to use this information for purposes other than those intended by the Site.

  1. Data Privacy
    Information collected on the Site is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your data and will not share it with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

  2. Intellectual Property
    The content of the Site (texts, logos, design, etc.) is the property of Thank A Medic or its partners. You are not authorized to reproduce, modify, or distribute this content without prior written permission.
     

  3. Limitation of Liability

    Thank A Medic cannot be held responsible for:

  • Direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the Site.

  • Errors or omissions in the information provided by users.

  • Service interruptions due to technical issues or circumstances beyond our control.

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will take effect upon their publication on the Site. It is your responsibility to regularly review these terms to stay informed.

  2. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
    These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Canada. Any dispute related to the use of the Site will be subject to the competent jurisdiction of Quebec, Canada.
